The ChallEnge
The founder of Rethink had left their steady career as a senior consultant at Arup. Going out alone, to start a new business required a visual online presence that caught attention and held it. They needed to find a unique position in the industry where no other engineering and design company had previously occupied, but they needed to do it in a way that didn't turn a well established industry away.

The Solution
I conducted a deep brand strategy workshop with the founder to uncover opportunities exploration and gaps in the industry that aligned with the vision of the business. Then taking a brand narrative approach to user experience, we crafted a compelling story that spoke to the hearts of portfolio and estate managers and owners. We gave the brand an adventurous outdoorsy feel, while visually aligning with the ideas themes of sustainability and direction. The colours come from nature, the typography from heritage buildings and the graphical language from adventurous direction.

The Result
The website and brand was very warmly received by both the client and their audience. Rethink reported that the speed of the process allowed them to get to market in just six weeks and had secured a contract almost immediately afterwards, after a previous contact reached out via the website. They've been enjoying constant growth since the launch.
The website's been getting a lot of compliments! Since the brand launch, I've landed 7 new clients and 13 projects. The revenue from that work has already exceeded the initial investment by 20x.
